- A Certhilauda semitorquata a verébalakúak (Passeriformes) rendjébe, ezen belül a pacsirtafélék (Alaudidae) családjába és a Certhilauda nembe tartozó, 16-20 centiméter hosszú madárfaj. A Dél-afrikai Köztársaság, Lesotho és Szváziföld száraz szavannáin él. Rovarokkal, magokkal táplálkozik. Fűből készített fészkét, melyet többnyire a nőstény épít, a földön helyezi el, fűcsomók tövében. Szeptembertől januárig költ. A fészekalj két-hátom tojásból áll. (hu)
